I'm Chris Gangstad, the owner and operator of Soundsgood Productions. I live in Fairmont, Nebraska with my wife Kari and our 3 children: Keenan, Evan and Gillian.
Along with DJ'ing I work days at Geneva Superfoods as meat cutter. Kari is the church secretary at the Evangelical Free Church in Geneva and our kids are in the Fillmore Central Elementary and Middle Schools in Geneva and Fairmont.
When I dream about having free time I like to imagine that I am enjoying a movie with my lovely wife, playing a wargame with my buddies, or reading a book. I also dig listening to music and watching old videos on YouTube.
I began DJ'ing in High School with a friend doing school dances and parties with our combined home stereos and music collections, a small mixing board and some cheesy lights. Through the '90s PowerPlay was on and off again and by the end of the Millenium I knew I wanted to "Do It Right" (also by that time my dreams of being a world-famous rock star weren't quite panning out). Soundsgood Productions was born in 2000 - the offspring of a large tax refund and an over-large bank loan. I added Karaoke and some other cool toys in the Fall of 2003. My schedule keeps me busy most Saturday nights and many Fridays.
